The content for the Rutberg European Wireless Forum will center on key issues impacting the global wireless and mobile communities, with an emphasis on Europe. Structured as fireside chats with global executives, the Forum will present two sessions:
Making (or Losing) Money in Convergence

Telecommunications operators in Europe and globally are building and offering triple and quadruple play services, with significant implications as to industry pricing, structure, and media relationships. In this session, operators, content providers, and Internet firms will discuss the business models, consumer demand, and profitability of converged services.
The Next Battle in Mobile Media: User-Generated Content

Inspired by the hundreds of millions of Web users and billions of potential market value, wireless carriers and Internet incumbents are exploring the opportunities, services, and business models for mobile user-generated content (UGC). However, numerous uncertainties remain, including whether carriers can succeed standalone, what consumers want to do on mobile devices, how partnerships among incumbents might (and might not) work, and what the broader implications might be for mobile content sales. In this session, wireless carriers, UGC incumbents, and startup investors will discuss the prospects and challenges for mobile user-generated content.
