Wireless and mobility are now a strategic priority for executives across almost every industry, and Wireless Influencers is the private meeting place for the ecosystem to debate key issues, discover new opportunities, and form new relationships.

The Wireless Influencers program focuses on industry shaping conversations and debates on what's next for mobility. Conference delegates are executives from the global mobile ecosystem, including telecommunications and cable operators, media and Internet firms, handset and consumer electronics manufacturers, retailers and distributors, advertisers and agencies, and financial institutions.

Each year, the Rutberg & Company research team develops the forum's program between the months of May and July through extensive research and diligence with industry executives and experts. Selected topics and themes that Wireless Influencers 2010 will address include:

  • Connected devices and new wireless ecosystems in healthcare, utility, transportation, and other industries
  • Mobile payments and commerce
  • Cloud-based services in mobile
  • Industry business models and structures across telecommunications, media, and technology firms
  • Monetization of digital and mobile media
  • The smartphone and tablet economies
  • The access business
  • Telecommunication carriers' unique and monetizable assets
  • Augmented reality and other innovative applications
  • Privacy and net neutrality

As with previous years' events, Wireless Influencers 2010 will employ session formats and design principles that foster interactivity and build dialogue among participants. Our design principles include:

  • More networking time than session time in the program
  • Boardroom sessions that focus on moderated discussions between speakers and audience members
  • An off-the-record, closed-door environment without the presence of press or financial analysts
