Irfan Iqbal is a Vice President in the Investment Banking group at Rutberg & Company, where he focuses on executing M&A and private equity transactions for wireless and digital media related companies.

Mr. Iqbal has worked on a number of completed strategic advisory and capital raising transactions for clients in the technology sector with an aggregate value in excess of $1.5 billion including mergers, acquisitions, equity and convertible debt placements, and recapitalizations on both a domestic and cross-border basis.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Iqbal was a Manager and head of Corporate Development at DTS, Inc. (NASDAQ:DTSI), where he worked closely with the executive team in evaluating and structuring strategic acquisitions, investments, and partnerships. Prior to DTS, Mr. Iqbal was an Analyst at SG Cowen in the Technology Investment Banking group, where he provided corporate finance and M&A advisory services to technology companies.

Mr. Iqbal received his BBA in Business Honors and Finance from the University of Texas at Austin . He has been CFA charter holder since 2005.
