Jeff Berry is the Head of Private Capital at Rutberg & Company focused on advising clients in raising equity capital.

Mr. Berry was previously Managing Director and Head of Private Capital at SVB Alliant, an affiliate of Silicon Valley Bank. Mr. Berry joined SVB Alliant in late 2003 and initiated the company's Private Capital advisory practice. During his tenure at SVB Alliant Mr. Berry was lead or co-lead banker on 22 closed transactions.

Prior to joining SVB Alliant, Mr. Berry headed Banc of America Securities' Private Equity Group, incorporating both principal investing and arranging private capital advisory services. Mr. Berry and his team committed $175 million in capital and arranged private equity financings in excess of $2 billion. Before heading the Private Equity Group, Mr. Berry founded and was Head of Telecommunication Banking at Banc of America Securities.

Mr. Berry received a B.A. from Santa Clara University and an MBA, Finance Emphasis, from the University of Southern California.
